Glitter Potion for Wearingeul Writing Ink | Emerald

Wearingeul is a South Korean stationery brand that creates beautiful writing inks and high-quality stationery items inspired by world-renowned literature.

For glitter ink fans, Wearingeul has created Glitter Potion, a liquid containing glitter that you add to non-glitter ink. You can transform any non-glitter ink you own into glitter ink by adding just a few drops (10% of the original ink volume). It can be used with most inks, regardless of brand.

How to use it?

1. Gently shake the bottle containing the Glitter Potion,
2. Add the glitter potion, in a proportion of 1/10 the original ink quantity, using a dropper, to the ink you have selected.
3. Mix the ink with the glitter potion, either by shaking a bottle in which you mix the two, or by using an object to stir.
4. Your new glitter ink is ready to use!

Some tips from Millenotes on how to use glitter inks effectively

• Choose the right pen
  For an optimal writing experience, it is recommended to use glitter inks with a nib that is at least fine, ideally medium or wider. The finer the nib, the more likely it is to clog.
• Shake before use
  Before each use, remember to shake the ink bottle well to evenly distribute the glitter, thus guaranteeing a homogeneous and brilliant result.
• Regular cleaning of instruments
  Glitter can sometimes accumulate in pens and nibs. It is therefore advisable to clean your pen and nib regularly to prevent blockages and prolong the life of your writing instruments.
• Do not let the ink dry in the pen
  It is important not to let the glitter ink dry in the nib. If the pen will not be used for an extended period, clean the nib to prevent any residue from affecting the writing flow.

• If your fountain pen nib is clogged despite recent use , do not press hard on the paper, as you risk damaging it! Dip it in water for 2 seconds, then gently wipe it with a paper towel or tissue. The problem should be solved. If the problem persists, repeat the process once or twice more. If the feather remains clogged despite immersion in water, a more thorough cleaning will be necessary.
