This privacy policy defines and informs you of the manner in which MILLENOTES uses and protects the information that you transmit to us, if applicable, when you use this site accessible from the following URL: www.millenotes.com (hereinafter the “Site”).

Please note that this privacy policy may be modified or supplemented at any time by MILLENOTES, in particular to comply with any legislative, regulatory, jurisprudential or technological developments. In such a case, the date of its update will be clearly identified at the top of this policy. These modifications are binding on the User as soon as they are posted online. The User should therefore regularly consult this privacy and cookie policy to be aware of any possible modifications.

  1. PERSONAL DATA

Generally speaking, you can visit the Site without providing any personal information about yourself. In any event, you are under no obligation to provide this information to MILLENOTES.

However, if you refuse, you may not be able to benefit from certain features or services that you have requested. Indeed, MILLENOTES may be required in certain cases to ask you to provide the following information (hereinafter your “Personal Information”):

MILLENOTES may process your Personal Information:

Only MILLENOTES is the recipient of your Personal Information. This information, whether in individual or aggregated form, is never transmitted to a third party, notwithstanding the subcontractors used by MILLENOTES (you will find more information about them in point 7 below). Neither MILLENOTES nor any of its subcontractors market the personal data of visitors and Users of its Site.

5.1. Right of access and communication of data

You have the right to access Personal Information concerning you. However, due to the security and confidentiality obligation in the processing of personal data incumbent on MILLENOTES, you are informed that your request will be processed subject to you providing proof of your identity, in particular by producing a scan of your valid identity document (in the case of a request via our dedicated electronic form) or a signed photocopy of your valid identity document (in the case of a request sent in writing).

MILLENOTES informs you that it will be entitled, where appropriate, to oppose requests that are clearly abusive (due to their number, their repetitive or systematic nature).

5.2. Right to rectify data

Under this right, the legislation allows you to request the rectification, updating, blocking or even deletion of data concerning you which may be inaccurate, erroneous, incomplete or obsolete.

You can also define general and specific guidelines regarding the fate of personal data after your death. If necessary, the heirs of a deceased person may request that the death of their loved one be taken into account and/or that necessary updates be made.

MILLENOTES undertakes to respond to your request for access, rectification or opposition or any other additional request for information within a reasonable timeframe which may not exceed 30 days from receipt of your request.

  1. Authorized service providers and transfer to a third country of the European Union

MILLENOTES informs you that it uses its authorized service providers to facilitate the collection and processing of the data you have communicated to us. These service providers may be located outside the European Union and have communication of the data collected through the various forms present on the Site.

MILLENOTES has previously ensured that its service providers implement adequate safeguards and comply with strict conditions regarding confidentiality, use, and data protection. In particular, vigilance has been focused on the existence of a legal basis for any transfer of data to a third country.

Regarding the collection of payments made directly on the Site, it is managed by our payment service provider STRIPE and PAYPAL, approved by the Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority ACPR. Your payment information is kept securely by STRIPE and PAYPAL. This Site does not store any data and the Site administrators do not have access to this banking information. STRIPE and PAYPAL carry out personal data processing for which they are responsible, described in their privacy policy.

  1. Complaint to the competent authority

If you believe that MILLENOTES is not complying with its obligations regarding your Personal Information, you may submit a complaint or request to the competent authority. In France, the competent authority is the CNIL, to which you can submit a request electronically or by post.
