To prevent warping and discoloration, avoid soaking in water, sudden changes in temperature or extreme heat, and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
Due to the nature of the material and processing, grain and color will vary from piece to piece.
If it is marked with ink, wipe it off with a soft cloth.
When removing the nib from the nib holder, pull it gently while twisting it to avoid dislodging the nib holder.
After rinsing, shake well downward to remove any water or ink from the nib holder before inserting a nib.
